Living Breathing Contradiction: Colosseum- Best Fwenz

Project 2 was the start of our friendship, the beginning of our story, the first phase of bitchy wednesday.

Some of us started of as close friends, while some of us started of as strangers. It was amazing, magical and extraordinary how a normal group of people, managed to get close to each other in this short span of a few weeks.

From the previous project, Justin, Gynie and I were project mates so we knew each other quite well and were very close already. On the other hand, Cham and I were practically strangers at that time, but look at us now- we're all family :)

We were different, from other groups. In individual work, we actually sat down as a group and talked over stuff, discussed, stayed up with each other, basically we worked as a group even for our individual work.

It amazed me at how we generously shared our ideas, gave opinions with each other. There was no "that person will do better than me so I won't share" kind of thoughts, we just wanted the best for each other.

There we started each bitchy Wednesday, where we would complain and groan about each week's requirements for our projects and tutorial sessions each week. I guess this started our heart-to-heart whatsapp messages and conversations with each other. Where we actually dug out our darkest past, deepest secrets and shared them with each other.

The day after our first Bitchy Wednesday, where we spent the whole night awake rushing for our Thursday's tutorial session. The first night where we started bitching about our projects, lecturers and workload together while skyping and whatsapping.

We continued each Bitchy Wednesday on skype, on whatsapp, in campus together, Working, talking and spending time with each other has soon become a norm for the four of us. Later on, we just found out that we were one of the few groups who are actually working together as a group for our individual work throughout the whole span of time given. Most of them only worked together during the last week.

We were not the best, but we were unique and different in our own way. Working together with our own style, doing it our way and making the best out of everything. I have never been this proud of each project in my entire semester one.

Soon came the end of our individual work, and then came our group work- to work on a chosen city model.

So from getting closer to each other, we have then opened our hearts and tried to understand each other's stories, didn't judge each other's past and listened to each other. We cried, sobbed, been through hell and came back together. It was a wonderful journey from the time we met to the time of our final presentation.

And there arrives our final presentation, 2 months seems like a very long time to be stuck with this group, but believe me, time really flies when you're in FNBE.
